Today I am going to review lip scrub and lip butter combo that I received with my purchase as a part of Juicy Chemistry's Diwali offer. Keep reading to know more about my experience.

My Experience:

Juicy Chemistry Mojito Lip Scrub: It has a nice minty and citrusy aroma due to presence of lemon EO and peppermint EO. I use JC lip scrub 1-2 times a week on damp lips. I use very little quantity as little goes a long way and of course gentle strokes to remove the dead surface off my lips as our lips are very sensitive. The JC lip scrub having coarse texture due to presence of finely milled organic white sugar. The scrub removes the dead skin effectively without dehydrating the lips. I have noticed the lips appear pinker post use and consistent use does make the lips healthy. The lip scrub is made up of skin loving oils and organic white sugar and is devoid of harsh chemicals and preservatives. Always make sure to not dig wet and untidy fingers/spatula to scoop out product as it may contaminate it.

My Experience:

Handmade soaps are very very different from commercial soaps. They not only look different but the composition, soap texture are completely different. I have dry skin and handmade soaps have proved to be my saviour.

Soap Square Red Apple With Shea Butter Soap smells delicious. Or maybe beyond delicious. It smells exactly like those yummy and juicy red apples! The bar looks lovely even though it's a simple pink coloured square shaped bar. I used this soap every day for more than a week before producing the review. The soap lathers mildly, washes off easily and cleans the skin really well without stripping it off it's natural oil due to the presence of shea butter. The soap is supposed to be used like any other soap. The soap deodorises the skin rather well. I could smell the lovely aroma of juicy red apples for a couple of minutes on my skin even after stepping out of the bathroom till it completely faded. Another thing that I like about the soap is that it does not melt easily however it's recommended to dry handmade soaps between uses to increase longevity, I would also recommend cutting the soap into two halves and use the other half later. Since all their soaps are devoid of harsh chemicals the soap is great for children too as it would not irritate their delicate skin. The product stands true to some of it's claims like it does soften the skin however I cannot comment on the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles claim as I've none.

The brand has a great variety of soaps to choose from and since they are handmade and hand cut the shape and weight may differ. The price may seem a bit too much but because the quality of the soap is good and it's handmade using natural ingredients only so I believe the price is justified.

To conclude, I really really liked the soap because it cleans the skin without drying it and the smell is just amazing. And it's a perfect soap for summers.

Hello lovelies! It's important to moisturise our skin in summers as much in winters. However it's adviced to use light weight butters and lotions to moisturise the skin. Today I will be reviewing Chocolate and Mint Body Butter from the house of Stay Wild Child. Read further to know about my experience.

The creamy natural whipped body butter hydrates your skin, leaving it loved, supple and smooth as velvet.

Ingredients: Shea butter, aloe vera, olive oil, vitamin E, glycerine, cocoa and peppermint essential oil.
Packaging: The body butter comes in a plastic jar with a silver coloured screw lid that shuts tight. Upon screwing the lid there's a silver foil to further protect the contents of the jar. The packaging is simple and sturdy. The label bears important info like shelf life, date of mfg, ingredients etc.



My Experience:

I had received this body butter as a gift for participating in a contest organised by the brand on their Facebook page.  The body butter is light brown in colour and has a *fading* aroma of peppermint EO, I could not smell any cocoa/chocolate unfortunately. The body butter has a soft whipped creme like texture and absorbs easily into damp skin. Those with oily skin may find it a bit heavy but since I have dry body skin even in summers I don't mind using it however I make sure I do not use too much quantity as it makes me sweat in this hot and humid North Indian summer.



I use desired amount of body butter every day post bath onto damp skin. The body butter instantly hydrates the skin and the skin remains moisturised for a good 4-5 hours before the need for reapplication arises. After massaging the body butter the skin looks healthy and is soft to touch but I wished the moisturisation effect stayed longer as it's a body butter and they are generally supposed to be more moisturising when compared to a body lotion. The plus point of this body butter is that it's completely natural and devoid of harsh chemicals. The body butter gets it's moisturising properties from shea butter, aloe vera and olive oil.

To conclude, Stay Wild Child is a decent body butter which is not too heavy for summers. However, I would advice oily skinned beauties who dwell in hot and humid conditions to skip it but dry skinned beauties can definitely give it a shot.

Will I recommend: Yes why not. There's no harm in trying.

However using cleansers that contain soap and harmful chemicals, preservatives are a big no as they cause a lot of harm to our skin in long run. Today I will be reviewing a facial cleanser from the house of Organic Mill, a Chennai based brand which is the brainchild of Ms. Shreni Kashyab. To know about my experience, keep reading.

Ingredients: Green tea, basil and rice flour.
Packaging: Comes in a glass jar with a gold coloured screw cap. The packaging is not fit for travelling as you may end up breaking the glass if you are a clumsy person like me. The label doesn't mention details like date of mfg, shelf life, price, quantity etc.

My Experience:

Organic Mill Facial Cleanser is as natural as it gets. Made up of only three ingredients, namely green tea, basil and rice flour, the cleanser is 100% soap free and has a powdery texture and smells predominantly of green tea. The smell is really mild so it would not bother sensitive noses. The brand sends a wooden spatula (not pictured) along to scoop out desired product in order to avoid contamination. I use the product 2-3 times a week during the night as a part of my CTM routine. I take a desired amount in my palm, add a few drops of water to create a runny paste and massage gently all over my damp face. I leave the cleanser on for a minute or so before rinsing and the product helps immensely in removing grime, very light makeup (eg. bb cream) and oil without dehydrating the skin or making it feel stretchy. There's a natural glow too post rinse however it doesn't last long but I am not complaining.

The product has an impressive ingredient list as it is not loaded with harmful chemicals or preservatives. The addition of rice flour in the cleanser removes extra oil and helps in reducing sun tan but one has to be consistent to see visible results. The product also claims to prevent breakout but since I have not experienced breakouts yet *knocks on the wood*, I cannot comment on it. The green tea protects the skin from free radicals due to it's antioxidant properties.

To conclude, Organic Mill Facial Cleanser is a great product to clean and nourish your skin. The product renders a healthy glow and doesn't dehydrate the skin. Although the product is 100% soap free and natural, and I didn't experience any sort of irritation, a patch test is still recommended.



Will I recommend: Of course I will.

• Contains only three ingredients which are super food for the skin.
• Removes oil, grime and light makeup without causing no dryness.
• Gives a healthy glow and makes the skin fresh.
