Hello beauties!!

I hope y'all are enjoying monsoons to the fullest and sipping on that masala chai and gorging on those yummy pakore. :D Since everyone's (I hope lol) aware of my love for natural and handmade products, I am also looking to try new Indian brands and when I randomly chanced upon Tiki-Ah, a brand based out of Gurugram (aka Gurgaon), Haryana I had to order something from them. So, here's showing off my little haul and as well as formally introducing Tiki-ah to our readers.

1. Creme Peach Tiki-Ah - INR 155 for 115 gm 2. Oh! So Minty Body Wash - INR 185 for 150 ml 3. Berrylicious Body Wash - INR 185 for 150 ml

Other than body washes and soaps, the brand also handcrafts face masks, lip balms, lip scrubs so make sure you check their e-store linked down below.

Well well, apart from that I have an exciting news too! I had a chat with Mrs Himala, the brainchild of Tiki-Ah where she answered some of my questions regarding her brand and also shared the story behind such an interesting yet quirky name for the brand, so, stay tuned as we're kicking off a new series soon, YAY.

Availability: All the products are available on the brand's e-store HERE. If you have any questions and queries you may email or message (on Facebook) Mrs Himala Palni directly and she shall address them therein.

Hello lovelies!!

Come summers, followed by monsoons my hair becomes a mess. My scalp gets greasy within a day or two, my lengths become dry and frizzy and I experience hair fall at an alarming rate. A couple of weeks ago, Aroma Essentials sent me some of the products from their new range of hair care products for me to try and today I will be talking about my experience with those products at length, so, keep reading.

Before I start, let's see what the brand, Aroma Essentials says about themselves:

Aroma Essentials is a range of skin care products that may make a useful addition to your daily skin care regimen. These include cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, exfoliants, facial cleansers, toners, retonoids, herbal and nutrient supplements, and cosmetics.

Natural handmade skin and hair care products. All our products are freshly handmade in small batches using the finest natural ingredients.we do not use harsh chemicals like petroleum or mineral oil.the color and scent of our products occur naturally from our ingredients and essential oils.no artificial colors and scents are added.store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.

Following are the products I received along with my experience:

Onion Cream Shampoo - The concept of cream shampoo was unknown to me until I received this awesome product in my package. Yes, it's a great great hair care product I have ever used. The shampoo is in cream form as the name suggests and its supposed to be diluted with a little water in order to use it. The shampoo has an awful fragrance due to presence of onions and it lingers for a couple of minutes even after washing but that doesn't deter from not using the shampoo as it really worked for me. I noticed while washing I didn't lose too many strands while washing it and even while I was finger combing through my hair I didn't lose too many strands again and my hair felt thoroughly clean, soft and shiny after every use which was a huge surprise for me because I face severe hair fall due to hot and humid weather and this cream shampoo took great care of that. The shampoo is devoid of harsh chemicals and contains goodness of onions, cedarwood EO, vitamin B3, natural sulphur, shea butter, and rosemary EO. The product is priced at INR 375 for 200 gms and INR 200 for 100 gms.

Banana and Coconut Milk Hair Mask - The hair mask smells predominantly of rosemary and works like a charm. It has a paste like consistency and is supposed to be applied on wet hair. I take desired amount of product, rub it between my palms and massage the scalp gently and divide my hair into sections and apply through the sections too and leave it on for 15-20 minutes (one may even put on a hot towel so that the product penetrates through the deeper layers for optimum results) and wash my hair with the cream shampoo from the same brand and condition with a conditioner that I am using from another Indian handmade brand. The hair mask really helps in taming frizziness by providing adequate moisture and nourishment to the hair. My hair feels super soft and manageable post use. Like their other products this product is also devoid of harsh chemicals and contains goodness of coconut milk, banana pulp, rosemary EO, etc. The product is priced at INR 300.

Availability: You can find Aroma Essentials products on their Facebook page here or you may WhatsApp the brand on +91-7760988272 and the founder Madhurima Ramakrishna shall address your queries therein.

Until next time,

Deepika
